David Ramkissoon, MBBS, DCH, DRCOG, MRCGP, Dip. MSK.

Dr. Ramkissoon graduated from the Faculty of Medical Sciences at The Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex at Mt. Hope in 1999 (MBBS). He then worked at the San Fernando General Hospital until 2003 gaining valuable experience in General Surgery, Orthopaedics and Trauma, and Urology.
He spent the next 12 years in the United Kingdom expanding his experience and undertaking his post-graduate training in General Practice. As part of his training he completed the Diploma in Child Health, DCH (Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health) and the Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, DRCOG (Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology).
In 2008 he was awarded his membership to the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP).
He worked for 8 years at a large family practice in Buckinghamshire, England where he subsequently developed his interest in Musculo-skeletal medicine. He completed the post-graduate Diploma in Musculo-skeletal Medicine with Rheumatology (Dip. MSK) from the University of Bradford in July 2011.
Dr. Ramkissoon returned to Trinidad in 2015 to set up his own medical practice. The reputation of the practice continues to spread, mostly by personal recommendation, with an ever-increasing patient number.
Our Practice
The Family Medical Practice is a new and purpose-built medical office opened in March 2016 and is very easy to find and access. There is parking directly at the front of the office which is shared with the adjacent business of Ramlogan's Motor Supplies. The rooms are bright, clean and spacious to give you a sense of our commitment to the highest standard of medical care.

The practice is built on a strong medical backgroud and a wealth of knowledge and experience. One of the main aims of the practice is to put you, the patient, at the heart of your medical care. This involves giving you personal informed attention, providing sufficient time for you to tell your story, to explore your concerns and to give you sufficient knowledge and information for you to make informed decisions and take control of your medical care. The main purpose of this website is to allow you to have a single portal to access the information that you need.
